Porsche’s head of powertrain development has been arrested by German police in the sweeping investigation of diesel emissions violations by parent company Volkswagen Group, sources told German media outlets.
Last year, we brought you news of an automated valet parking system that would allow visitors to the Mercedes-Benz museum in Stuttgart to have their cars drop them off and then go park itself autonomously. Now, one of Daimler’s German rivals plans to offer similar capabilities. The first surprise is that it exists at all, this being the first rear-wheel drive production Audi since the 1938 Audi 920 – long before Audi was the carmaker we now know.
